METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC UPDATING OF WWW PAGE USING PROCESSING TIME TABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of an HTTP server, and to reduce the load of a network, and to simplify the manual operation of a client by calculating a time until a WWW browser is updated, and notifying it from the HTTP server of integrated equipment, and automatically updating the WWW browser in a proper timing.;SOLUTION: This WWW page automatic updating method for requesting processing from the WWW browser of a client terminal (1) to an HTTP server (3), and for displaying the processing result at a WWW browser page, comprises a step to request processing from the client terminal to the HTTP server, a step to transmit a time required for processing corresponding to the requested processing from the HTTP server to the client terminal and a step to make the client terminal execute the update of the WWW page after the lapse of the transmitted time required for the processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
