PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of HTTP servers and networks, and simplify manual update operations at client terminals.;SOLUTION: An update method for WWW pages, in which a client terminal requests processing to a server apparatus through an WWW browser and the client terminal displays the processing results on WWW pages, includes a step for requesting processing from the client terminal to the server apparatus, a step for transmitting the time required for processing corresponding to the requested processing from the server apparatus to the client terminal, and a step for executing WWW page update at the client terminal after the time required for the transmitted processing passes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
