PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability and operating efficiency of the manufacture process design of a new object of manufacture by validly using the result manufacture information of products or components with manufacture results. PSOLUTION: This manufacture knowledge managing system is provided with a database 3 which registers the result manufacture information of a work with manufacture results by each manufacture step in which its shape changes, input means 8, 10 and 11 which input the manufacture information of a new work to be manufactured, a retrieving means 2 which retrieves result manufacture information having result manufacture step information matched or similar to manufacture step information included in inputted new manufacture information and the new manufacture step information of at least the manufacture step before or after the manufacture step information and an output means 9 which outputs the retrieval result and the new manufacture information to a display part 12. Thus, it is possible for a designer to easily acquire the past matched or similar result manufacture step information and the information of the adjacent result manufacture step by each manufacture step, and to judge whether or not the design of the manufacture process of a new work is appropriate.
