ON-LINE SETTLEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM USING FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-line settlement method and system for allowing a user to use on-line settlement in any place other than his/her house without any anxiety. PSOLUTION: The on-line settlement method comprises a step for transmitting order information from a communication terminal 10 through the Internet 2 to a convenience settlement service system 32, a step for transmitting base point designation information for designating a convenience store C as a facsimile data receiving base point from the communication terminal 10 of an orderer through the Internet 2 to a convenience store settlement service system 32 and a step for transmitting FAX data for on-line settlement on which at least order charge is printed as a bar code B readable by a POS terminal 30 when the data are outputted by each facsimile terminal 31 through a public network 2 to an FAX terminal 31 set in the designated convenience store C as its destination from the transmitted settlement information and base point designation information in the system 32.
