PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent for effectively adsorbing and separating an organohalogen compound such as dioxins or the like contained in an exhaust gas from the exhaust gas, and a sampling device equipped with a holder for supporting the adsorbent.;SOLUTION: The adsorbent for the organohalogen compound comprises graphite carbon. The sampling device is equipped with an adsorbent holder wherein the adsorbent is supported on a filter. The graphite carbon has a porous or non-porous form having a specific surface area of 10 m²/g or above.
