PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chipping method and a chipping device capable of providing a uniform cutting trace having the predetermined depth, by completely exposing a concrete skeleton surface, by starting work from an optional position.;SOLUTION: This chipping device 10 moves a core boring machine 20 in the triaxial direction of the x-axis direction vertical to a surface of a concrete skeleton 1, the y-axis direction or the z-axis direction parallel and mutually vertical to the surface of the concrete skeleton 1. A cutting groove 3 cut on a concrete surface can be expanded in a width in the z-axis direction by its moving distance z₁ by performing operation moving the core boring machine 20 by a distance z₁ not more than a diameter of a cutting edge 21 in the z axis direction every time when forming the cutting groove 3 by alternately repeating a predetermined frequency of operation for cutting the surface of the concrete skeleton 1 up to the predetermined depth x₁ by the core boring machine 20 and operation for moving the core boring machine 20 by a predetermined distance y₁ in the y axis direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
