PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamy cosmetic fully making use of heat of hydration, substantially free from water and containing a polyhydric alcohol producing the heat of hydration.;SOLUTION: The foamy cosmetic comprises (1) 50-94 wt.% of one or more kinds selected from polyethylene glycol liquid at 1 atm and 25°C and glycerol, (2) 0.1-10 wt.% of one or more kinds selected from fatty acid esters of polyglycerol 2-5 in polymerization degree wherein, in view of the average esterification degree, the number of free hydroxy groups are equal to or greater than the number of esterified hydroxy groups and (3) a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant not classified as polyglycerol fatty acid ester.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
