PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid as much as possible a situation where a turbulent flow of wind or air or the like flows into a gap between a print head main body and a print medium to generate a flying deflection or the like of droplets, and also to avoid as much as possible another situation where foreign substances stuck on the print head main body are scattered by the turbulent flow of the wind or air to stick and remain on the medium just after printing.;SOLUTION: An inkjet type printing apparatus 1 is constituted so that when a table 3 on which the print medium such as a glass substrate is placed and the print head main body 2 held above it are relatively moved, a liquid for printing is discharged from a nozzle face 2a of the print head main body 2.
