PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the medicine metabolism activity of a cell, by which the medicine metabolism activity of a cell for the medicine can simply be measured.;SOLUTION: This method for measuring the medicine metabolism activity of the cell 14 comprises culturing the cell 14 in a culture medium on the surface of an ITO electrode 2 above which a counter electrode 4 and a reference electrode 5 is disposed, adding the medicine to the cell 14, and then applying an alternating electric current I between the ITO electrode 2 and the counter electrode 4 to measure the changes in the reactance component of impedance with the passage of time between the ITO electrode 2 and the counter electrode 4 just after the addition of the medicine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
