HIGH DESIGN OLEFIN MALL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high design olefin mall and its manufacturing method. PSOLUTION: The high design olefin mall is an exterior mall for an automobile, a base material section and a design section are integrally molded of olefin-based resin by simultaneous extrusion molding, a coated surface of the design section positioned outside a cabin is coated. The mall 10 comprises a core 11, a substrate section 12, the design section 13 having the coated surface 15, and a coated section 14. A raw material color having high cost is not required to be applied to the design section 13 of the mall 10, and coating having design (color) equivalent to a body color of the automobile can be applied to the design section 13, so that color matching becomes easy. A metal foil is inserted between the substrate section 12 and the coated surface 15 so that the coated section 14 does not get into direct contact with the substrate section 12, thereby suppressing bleed and inexpensively providing the mall 10 having high design property.
