PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein images (for instance, bitmap, jpeg, or gif) used nowadays are different in a method in a compression algorithm or a storage method of data from one another but the image displayed on a screen is composed of two-dimensionally arranged dots; and even if such an image is expanded, only the dots are enlarged and displayed.;SOLUTION: For the space-map image proposed by this application, a three-dimensional X-Y-Z virtual space is constructed in the image, and a four-dimensional virtual space is constructed by defining an entrance W direction (anywhere like a door) to a different virtual space. By providing each image itself with an operating system function, and by providing a function capable of executing various applications in its virtual space, a user can use a favorite operating system by selecting it out of various kinds of operation systems without being bound only by a particular operating system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
