PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall member for an underground hollow structure, which can facilitate the construction of utilities. PSOLUTION: A side slab part of the underground hollow structure is formed by inserting the wall member 2, made of precast concrete, into ground. A vertically continuous recess 22, which is opened in an inner surface, is formed in the member 2. Since the recess 22 is opened at the lower end of the member 2, the member 2 can be smoothly inserted into the ground.
