PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing system capable of easily performing efficient editing processing of information.;SOLUTION: Management information of a recording medium or an HD attached on an information processor 400 is recorded in an external medium attached on the processor 400. The external medium is attached on a portable information editing apparatus 300 to cause a terminal display device to display the management information. The processor 400 edits the contents managing the content information to cause to generate modification management information and to cause the external medium to store the information. The external medium unit is attached on the processor 400 again, a modification management information means is caused to acquire the modification management information, and the recording medium or the HD are caused to record the acquired information, and the content information is automatically edited on the basis of the editing contents of the modification management information.
