PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application management system enhancing convenience of application management, and achieving labor saving; and to provide an application management method and a program for performing the same. PSOLUTION: An application server computer group 11A and a management server computer 13 storing an application operation definition storage file 19 are communicably configured through a communications network 12. The operation of the application is controlled by referring to the operation definition storage file 19 by the server computer group. The application management system comprises: a execution object application group 22 grouping the application managed by the application management means 21A of the server computer 15A; and a present state update file 23A having the grouping data; and a stop reception section 25 receiving a stop request to the application in a unit specifying to the management means 21A; and an application grouping management section 26 managing the application in a group unit and simultaneously stopping the application after receiving the stop request from the stop reception section.
