PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing unit for a medical appliance sufficiently sterilizing and drying the inside of a tubular part of the medical appliance by gas containing a sterilizing substance and to provide a medical appliance storage provided therewith. PSOLUTION: A storage 10 of an endoscope 1 is disposed with the sterilizing unit 20. This sterilizing unit 20 includes a sterilizing substance generator 21 and a mechanism part 22. The sterilizing substance generator 21 is disposed in a ceiling part of the storage 10 and the mechanism part 22 is placed in the back of a inclined structure 13 provided inside the storage 10 so as to lean the tubular part 3 of the endoscope 1 thereon. The mechanism part 22 includes an air flow forming device 40. When a suction tube 44 connected to the air flow forming device 40 is connected to the tip of the tubular part 3 of the endoscope 1 and the sterilizing unit 20 is driven, air including negative ions generated by the sterilizing substance generator 21 is made to pass through the tubular part 3 to sterilize and dry the inside of the tubular part 3.
