PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech attribute conversion system, a speech attribute conversion apparatus and a speech attribute conversion method, in which a pair of audio signals composed of left and right voices of stereo or the like are inputted from a voice output device or a broadcast receiver to left and right audio input terminals, speech attributes of inputted audio signals are converted for through-outputting or voices can be recorded with the same speech attribute as that of a broadcast signal.;SOLUTION: Audio input signals, inputted from an external device to left and right audio input terminals of a speech attribute conversion apparatus, are switched by an electrical branch means, based on switching rules so as to enable through-outputting as audio signals of a speech attribute intended by a user, and are inputted to through-output terminals as audio output signals. Furthermore, when audio input signals are recorded, the audio input signals are switched by the electrical branch means, based on the switching rules so as to be recorded as audio signals of the speech attribute intended by the user, and are recorded, while adding a speech attribute flag to audio output signals by using an encoder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
