INSPECTION METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF MALE STERILITY

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify effect of PHGPx (Phospholipid-Hydroperoxide Glutathione Peroxidase gene) to mutation of human genome gene and idiopathic male infertility (especially azoospermia and severe oligospermia), and effect of gene mutations on expressions of proteins. PSOLUTION: The gene diagnosis, treatment and development of new medicine are carried out from correlations between mutation of a specific region (bases present in a promotor region) and male infertility from the results of detection of gene mutation by PCR_TTGE method on irregularities of PHGPx genome gene in male infertility patients, investigation on irregularities of PHGPx genome gene in male infertility patients by a sequence method, analysis of correlation of specific PHGPx genome gene in male infertility patients and pathological condition, and investigation on the effects of the resulting PHGPx expression and function in the mutation.
