PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period for selecting a successful bidder and to reduce the man-days of operation in bidding, where a plurality of bidders bid for a plurality of articles having equivalent values and the successful bidder is selected by one-time bidding at the same time.;SOLUTION: A successful bidder selection device receives bidding for the plurality of articles from the plurality of bidders and selects the successful bidder. The selection device is provided with a storage means for storing bidding information, consisting of a list of bidding prices and bidding quantities, and the limits of successful bidding with respect to the articles; a bidding reception means for receiving the bidding information of the bidders and writing them in the storage means; a successful bidding candidate deciding means which decides the bidder of bidding information including the highest or lowest bidding price with respect to the article to be a successful bidding by each article after bid opening; and a successful bidder deciding means which decides each bidder who is the successful bidding candidate for one of the articles to be the successful bidder, when the total of the bidding quantities or the bidding prices of the article, for which the bidder is the successful bidding candidate, is within the successful bidding limit of the bidder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
