PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station-selection information rewrite system, a successful bidder determining apparatus for station-selection information, a station-selection information setting apparatus, and a station-selection information rewrite method for allowing allocating in a fair manner station-selection information of a broadcaster to a station-selection button through free competition, without causing excessive increase in the number of station-selection buttons of a television set.;SOLUTION: A computer-controlled equipment unit 3 receives bids for station- selection information to a station-selection button of a television set 2, utilizing terminals 5 to 7 which were filed by broadcasters, to determine a broadcaster who has submitted the highest bid among the bidding broadcasters as the successful bidder, and the television set 2 sets the station-selection information of the broadcaster, who won the bid, as the station-selection information with respect to the station-selection button which was won in bidding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
