PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the operating temperature of a magnetic device using, as a member, an Mn-type antiferromagnetic alloy for magnetic device becomes elevated and trouble is brought about in thermal stability.;SOLUTION: The antiferromagnetic alloy is an alloy containing elements of Mn and Ir and has a composition represented by Mn100-xIrx (where 40≤x≤52 is satisfied) and also has L10-type regularly arranged crystals.
