PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to highly precisely detect the status of a load element regardless the variations between products or the changeover aging. PSOLUTION: This status detecting device is configured to detect the filling end of hydraulic fluid to a load element(clutch) to accept hydraulic fluid whose pressure is adjusted by a solenoid valve 12 having a spool valve slave to be moved according to the excitation of a solenoid to be driven by an electric driving circuit 10 and a feedback chamber to which the output pressure to be outputted from an output port is fed back. A flow rate change detecting means 68 detects the change of a flow rate and the change of the position of the spool valve slave from a counter-electromotive force generated in the solenoid valve 12, and a filling end deciding means 74 decides that the change of the position of the spool valve slave is not relevant to the driving by the electric driving circuit 10 from the current change(that is, the change of the position of the spool valve slave) and a command value to the electric driving circuit 10.
