PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path deflection device reduce in inclination in the direction different from the required direction. ;SOLUTION: Respective support members of the optical path deflection device for rotating a movable part 14 having an optical element (mirror 4) axially through the support member are made asymmetric to a horizontal surface including the axis viewing from the direction where plural support members is viewed horizontally, and respective springs 12 being the support members of both sides of the mirror are constituted into the symmetric shape, and a light spot of an objective lens is moved only in the tracking direction, and is not moved in the tangential direction perpendicular to the tracking direction, so that a jitters component is not increased in a signal and accurate recording/ reproducing is enabled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
