PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compress/store the musical sound waveform data and to reduce storage capacity by showing sizes of adjacent points on coordinates as coordinate values and converting the coordinate values to the values on the axes of coordinates rotating the axes of coordinates of this coordinates. The converted coordinate values are written in order in a program/data storage part 3 to be stored. The musical sound waveform data written in the program/data storage part 3 to be stored are read out by a musical sound waveform reproducing part 8. Then, the read out musical sound waveform data are inversely converted to the values on the original axes of coordinates before rotating, and these values are separated and expanded as the sizes of the adjacent points of the original musical sound waveform data to be reproduced/outputted.
