PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical catheter which can be accurately introduced to a specified position of an organ in a living body. SOLUTION: Near the top of a main body 2 of the catheter, a guide balloon 4 capable of locally expanding outwardly one side of the peripheral wall of the main body 2 is arranged and the balloon 4 is singly communicated to a path way 6 formed in the main body 2 so as to be freely expandable or contractible.
