PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the adjustment of an optical axis in a short time without the constraint of location.;SOLUTION: A measuring device of optical axis deviation 30 is coupled to a lightwave collimator system 10, and light from a target light source installed as a dummy is received by both a lightwave tracking sensor 16 and the measuring device of optical axis deviation 30 through a laser emitting optical mirror for projection 15 and a laser light guiding optical path 14. The measuring device of optical axis deviation 30 determines a correct value equivalent to the deviation of optical axis on the basis of both a result of light reception from the laser light guiding optical path 14 and a result of control executed in a gimbals drive control circuit 17 by sequentially varying an slope angle of a gimbals mechanism 11. This correct value data for each slope angle are memorized in an optical axis correcting data memory 181 in an optical axis adjustment control circuit 18. In practical use, the optical axis adjustment control circuit 18 reads the correct value data corresponding to the slope angle from the optical axis correcting data memory 181 each time the gimbals mechanism 11 rotates, and corrects the optical axis of the laser light guiding optical path 14 on the basis of the correct value data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
