PURPOSE: To obtain a nodular solidifying agent used for elastic paving and flooring compositions, excellent in flexibility, curability and workability and reduced in odor by using as the constituent a polyurethane prepolymer containing a specified component. ;CONSTITUTION: A nodular solidifying agent composed mainly of a urethane prepolymer made from polyol(s) and polyisocyanate compound(s) and having terminal isocyanato groups, wherein the polyisocyanate compound(s) contains 2,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The amount of 2,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate used is preferably at least 1wt.%. The urethane prepolymer is obtained by reacting 2,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate alone or a mixture thereof with other organic polyisocyanate compounds with a polyol alone or a mixture thereof with a low-molecular diol preferably at an equivalent ratio of NCO to OH of at least 1.5:1.
