PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-active pressure-sensitive adhesive having excellent adhesion to an adherend and blocking resistance, by using a substance which can substitute for a phthalic ester used as a solid plasticizer in conventional heat-active pressure-sensitive adhesives from a viewpoint of an environmental problem, and to provide a heat-active pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet.;SOLUTION: This heat-active pressure-sensitive adhesive contains (a) a thermoplastic resin, (b) a tackifier, and (c) a solid plasticizer which is solid at ambient temperature and molten when heated as main components, wherein the solid plasticizer (c) contains one or more kinds selected from compounds expressed by general formula (I) (R is methyl, ethyl, methoxy or ethoxy; and X is H or hydroxy), general formula (II) (R₁ is H, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy or a halogen; and Y is H or hydroxy), and general formula (III) (R₂ is H, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy or a halogen).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
