PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and a related apparatus for tending a flat or sloping tea garden for conducting safe and efficient tea garden tending activities aboard through loading the apparatus on a vehicle such as a motortruck by setting interridges or passages for vehicle traveling use at necessary place(s) in the tea garden.;SOLUTION: This method for tending the tea garden comprises the following practice: when the tea garden is flat or gently sloping, an arm mounted with a necessary tea garden tending implement on the flank of the vehicle is developed over a plurality of tea tree ridges from the loading platform of the vehicle, the tending implement is then set in motion, and a tending activity is carried out by moving the implement through utilizing the traveling function of the vehicle; alternatively, when the tea garden in sharply sloping, a tea garden tending implement equipped with wheels is suspended out with ropes along the slope from the loading platform of a vehicle, and a tending activity is carried out by moving the implement along the slope by the aid of the deadweight of the implement and a rope winding mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
