PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidity-measuring apparatus by which the acidity of a solution to be measured, can be measured with good operability and by which the acidity can be measured at low costs and continuously without performing a cleaning operation by a method wherein the end part of a working electrode, that of a counter electrode and that of a reference electrode are freely attached to, and removed from, a connector which is installed at a voltammetry circuit. ;SOLUTION: A measuring container 12 forms a part of an acidity measuring apparatus which measures the acidity of a solution, to be measured, which contains an acid. A counter electrode 7, a working electrode 8 and a reference electrode part 9 are attached to a container cover 12b. At a container body 12a, an electrolytic solution 10 in which a quinone derivative, an organic solvent and an electrolyte are mixed is housed in an electrolytic-solution housing part 35. Ends, on one side, of the counter electrode 7, of the working electrode 8 and of the reference electrode part 9 protrude to the outside, and ends on the other side are immersed in an electrolytic solution 10. On the other hand, a connector which is fitted to the counter electrode 7, the working electrode 8 and the reference electrode part 9 at the measuring container 12 is installed at a voltammetry measuring device in an acidity measuring apparatus, and both are connected electrically. By this shape, a large-scale facility for an acidity measurement is not required, and the acidity of the solution to be measured can be measured with excellent operability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
