Root resection method and root resection device of bean sprouts

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cut off bean sprout roots with as little damage of the bean sprout as possible at the time of working on cutting off the roots.;SOLUTION: The bean sprouts are fed on a cutting table 11 in which cutting slits 13 having a gap width into which the bean sprout can fall are formed by many rod-like members 12, and water is sprinkled on this cutting table 11. Since the water sprinkled on the cutting table 11 flows out from the cutting slit 13, the bean sprout roots fed on the cutting table 11 flow into the inside of the cutting slit 13 by the water stream flowing toward the cutting slit 13. The bean sprout root fallen into the inside of the cutting slit 13 is cut off by moving a cutter blade 14 along the upper face of the cutting table 11 in this state. The cutter blade 14 is formed in a zigzag shape so as cut to the blade point off the bean sprout root to cross in the oblique direction against the cutting slit 13 seeing from the upper side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
