Stereotactic frame and method for supporting a stereotactic frame

A stereotactic frame (1) is disclosed in this publication. The stereotactic frame (1) is adapted for the localization of organs in conjunction with the examination and/or treatment operations performed thereon. The stereotactic frame (1) according to the invention has been developed to give enhanced freedom of movement for the subject being examined and/or treated. The publication also discloses a method for supporting a stereotactic frame.
