The method and the device are designed for ecological and safety running down during all seasons of a transport vehicle which is being ascended by ski lift. By the method a standard lift (1) pulls the trolley (2) by means of fixing it with a spring lock (5) to position (3). The transport vehicle (2) runs down by inertia along the ski-run (4) to its initial position. It is equipped with a spring lock (5) and safety and all-surface running tyres, as well as with a built-in centrifugal brake (7) for the adjustment of the maximum speed of the run-down. Tyres (6) contain the centrifugal brake (7) connected to a regulator (8) for the maximum revolving speed. Tyres (6) are made of three individual tyres which are fitted inside each other. They have D1, D2 and D3 sizes and are pumped with different pressures P1, P2 and P3 across a triple pumping valve (9).
