"PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING BIFLAVONOIDS, PHOTOPROTECTOR, ANTIOXIDANT, ANTIINFLAMMATORY AND ANTI-VENELEMENT ACTIVITIES AND THEIR USE IN DRUGS, NUTRACUES AND COSMETICS". This invention relates to processes for obtaining a biflavonoid fraction from Araucaria angustifolia leaves, photoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging activities and their use in the manufacture of cosmetics and medicaments useful in photoprotection, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging.
