"ETANOL PRODUCTION PROCESS WITH IMBILIZED MICROORGANISMS IN CORN SOBUGS AND PROCESS FOR IMBILIZING MICROORGANISMS IN CORN SOBBES". The present invention brings together the functions of presenting a new support (corn cob) for immobilization of ethanol producing microorganisms, using industrially used raw materials and a reactor configuration for continuous ethanol production, providing higher productivity, elimination of centrifuges and cheaper ethanol production costs. The process consists, as shown in figure 2, of 3 series fermenters, closed, washing the gases produced with water in a specific column. Sulfuric acid, antimicrobial agents and must are fed with specific pumps [2,4,9]. Upper and lower screens maintain the semi-fluidized bed [11]. The must enters the upper part of fermenter 1 [5] and passes from fermenter 1 to fermenter 2 and from 2 to 3 by gravity, always exiting from the base of the previous reactor and fed from the upper part of the next. They are interconnected by the upper part for the passage of the formed gases and foam [14]. Plate heat exchangers [6,7] control the temperature of the fermenting medium.
