Some partial support surfaces (3, 5) can be raised relative to the support surface plane. A support (1) for products comprises a number of partial support surfaces, at least some of which can be moved out of the support surface plane in an upwards direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Second support for products, comprising a number of partial support surfaces, at least some of which can be moved out of the plane of a stretched support surface in an upwards direction; and (2) Apparatus for treating products, containing a food product treatment region, preferably for rising, coating, glazing, cooling, freezing or baking, in addition to the support and a lifting device for the raisable support surfaces.
