The sound averting equipment with an alarm function is fitted in the acoustic duct or over the ear and incorporates a sound averting component. Devices are provided initiating a sound function and/or a vibration function and at a predetermined time emit an alarm signal. In the sound averting equipment, the necessary controls are furnished for the sound or vibration units together with a voltage source. Equipment is included for the programming of the controls and such equipment is provided in an external programmer. An ear (1) is provided with an ear shell (2), acoustic duct (3) and drum membrane (4). The sound averting component (5) is fitted in the ear, with its foremost small part (6) in the acoustic duct (3) and the rearmost large part (7) on the ear shell (2).
