A device for the dispelling of animals, preferably martens to avert possible damage, like the engine bay of vehicles, roofs of similar further mobile or stationary possibilities, is described. The device can consist of a housing (1) which can come into use in a further function as a resonance or musical sound body and a combination of electronics and mechanics which, in conjunction with the housing or of a integrated musical sound body or of a type of striking surface induces single or continuous noises varying in time (like knocking, hitting or falling). The musical sound body or resonance body can consist of one, two or more parts and is connected together preferably in shape-locking fashion or by other conventional mechanical methods.
