Topical composition for the treatment of psoriasis and related skin disorders comprising glucosamine and herbal extracts of berberine and oleuropein

Disclosed are topical skin preparations comprising glucosamine and at least one antioxidant anti-inflammatory from a herbal source in an emollient base. Preferably the herb extracts are berberine and/or oleuropein. The formulations can be used in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of inflammatory skin cell disorders related to T-cell activation, such as psoriasis and dermatitis.
