APPLIANCE FOR PROTECTION OF MINE WORKINGS, CONSTRUCTIONS, EQUIPMENT AND MANPOWER AGAINST BLAST WAVES

An appliance for protection of mine workings, constructions, equipment and manpower against blast waves has in the openings of perforation of elastic links welded metal pipes, the ends of those go at both sides out of the boundaries of the link; this forms swirl zones at the way of the blast wave, due to that part of the energy of explosion is absorbed. The ends of the pipes directed to the side of the objects to be protected are followed by receivers for change of the direction of the blast waves and decrease of dynamical loads. The utility model proposed makes it possible to suppress effectively the blast waves and to bring to minimum the strike effect of those.
