METHOD FOR UTILIZATION OF ANTIPERSONNEL MINES OF THE TYPE PFM-1/PFM-1S

A method for utilization of anti-personnel mines of the type PFM-1/PFM-1S in which at the site prepared one installs a protective structure, in the protective structure pool is formed, with arrangement of air mains going to the section of the bottom part of the pool, this is connected to compressor; one installs inside the protective structure a filter-ventilation installation and equipment for purification and cooling of water, one fills the pool with water or some other nonflammable fluid, with installation of portable mining set in front of the pool. The mines are immersed and kept at the bottom of the pool during an hour, this is needed for operation of those antipersonnel mines. One performs initiation of mines in the pool under action of pressure of water column on the body of the mine, with implementation of initiation by means of initiating charge of trotyl for mines being at the bottom of the pool after immersion of those, not having exploded under action of pressure of water column. Then one switches off air supply from the compressor to the channels of supply air mains, with implementation of filtration and cleaning of air inside the cavity of the protection structure against gaseous products of explosion, one performs purification and cooling of water in the pool with removal of fine-dispersed products of explosion; one lowers to the bottom of the pool appliance for collection of the rests bodies of the mines and fragments of the structural elements of the blocks, with sorting the rests of the mine bodies and fragments of the structural elements of the blocks as utilization products. This utility model gives possibility to utilize the mines completely.
