The transponder (1) without the surrounding casing is enclosed between two layers of plastic (7, 8) or similar material and these layers are bonded together outside the transponder side edges. One of the plastic layers is provided with an adhesive layer on the side facing away from the transponder so that the latter can be attached to the inside of a vehicle windscreen.
