Procedure for obtaining human DNA from gingival crevicular fluid. It carries out the extraction of human DNA, for its analysis by molecular detection, as well as for the analysis of the genetic susceptibility to any disease, without affecting the activity of Taq polymerase in the PCR, obtaining a product of correct visualization after its electrophoresis in agarose gel and by staining with ethidium bromide, as well as subject to digestion with restriction enzymes (RFLP) for allelic study or to its direct sequencing, with diagnostic quality, based on careful preparation of gingival crevicular fluid by means of tips or strips of absorbent paper or an interdental brush, preventing contamination of the sample with the operator's own cells.
