New strain of bacillus thuringiensis cry genes with multiple toxic against lepidopteran pests.; A new strain HU04-2 of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is described with insecticidal activity against larvae of lepidopteran species Helicoverpa armigera, Spodoptera exigua, S. littoralis and S. frugiperda. The novel Bt strain of the invention is shown effective against all species simultaneously. Also, in this invention also it includes both mutants derived from this strain as genes that can be transferred to other microorganisms, and can be used to control lepidopteran pests of these plants or equip them with resistance thereof.; In turn the proteins encoded by these genes are described.
