Carved gem constituted of diamond or a stone having at least one crystallographic axis of ternary symmetry and a refractive index and a substantially equal dispersion to diamond, comprising a first predetermined number of facets number (25 to 27; 55 to 57 ) cut in the crown (10) and a predetermined facets (28, 29, 30 second number; 58, 59) carved in the cylinder head (11) about a central axis of geometric symmetry (14); said crown facets and the pavilion are arranged around said central axis of geometric symmetry in a substantially hexagonal arrangement, characterized in that the girdle (12) separating the crown (10) of the yoke (11) has a contour form lobed (20) with six projecting portions (21) rounded and six hollow portions (22) rounded and that said axis of symmetry center line (14) corresponds to a ternary crystallographic axis of symmetry of the gem.
