Described is a non-oncogenic Ti plasmid vector system and recombinant DNA molecules for the introduction of expressible genes into plant cell genomes. Furthermore, corresponding transformed Agrobacterium strains and processes for the production of plant cells and plants containing foreign DNA sequences are described. (Fig. 10)
