METHOD AND SYSTEM OF DISCRIMINATION IN RELATION TO THE ORIGINAL SITE AND/OR MULTISITE ORGANISATION OF THE CONNECTION SITE OF A ROAMING TERMINAL

The invention relates to a discrimation method and device for discriminating in relation to the original site and/or multisite organization (O0) of a connection site of a roaming terminal (Tx). Addresses are allocated to the roaming terminal connected to a specific site forming a localization reference (LR), whereupon an RM signalling message (LR) comprising a localization reference is transmitted (A) from the terminal (Tx) to the original network of said terminal; (B) the localization reference (LR) is compared to at least one of the sets of permanent and temporary internal addresses, respectively another original multisite organization allocated for each connection to site of the original network, for identification purposes, and (C) localization discrimination information (LI) is transmitted from the original site to the roaming terminal (Tx) as a function of said comparison, whereby the roaming terminal (Tx) is connected to the original site or to a sight belonging to the orginal mutisite organization (O0) or to another site (Sp) which does not belong to the original multisite organization (O0). The invention can be applied to IP network engineering and management.
