The present invention relates to a method for screening an enzyme gene from various fungi using a degenerate primer and a polymerase chain reaction method, a novel phytase gene of Penicillium oxalicum KCTC 6440 obtained by using the above method, Pichia pastoris strain transformed by a recombinant vector comprising the above gene and a recombinant phytase enzyme produced by the above strain. The transformed strains according to the present invention and phytase enzyme produced from this strain have more excellent potency to provide a useful value as feed additives.
