A transfer functional film having on a substrate 1 at least a functional layer 4 which can be separated from the substrate 1, the functional layer 4 being a compressed layer of functional fine grains, and having on the functional layer 4 an adhesive layer 5 made up of an adhesive composition containing a curing component (A) and a polyester polyurethane resin (P). A method for forming a functional layer on a surface of an object comprising the steps of affixing the transfer functional film on a surface of an object to which a functional layer is to be applied via the adhesive layer 5 in such a manner that the substrate 1 is positioned outside, causing the adhesive layer 5 to cure after the affixation, and separating the substrate 1.
