ALLOY MATERIAL FOR SLURRY PUMPS OF FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION SYSTEM CAPABLE OF PREVENTING DAMAGE OF PARTS FOR SLURRY PUMPS

PURPOSE: To reduce damage of parts for slurry pumps and extend life cycle of the slurry pumps by properly controlling contents of chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and molybdenum (Mo) in a material for impeller and liner of the slurry pumps, thereby improving corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance of the slurry pumps. CONSTITUTION: The alloy material for slurry pumps of flue gas desulfurization system comprises 26 to 32 wt.% of chromium (Cr), 1.7 to 2.7 wt.% of carbon (C), 1.5 to 2.5 wt.% of nickel (Ni), 1.5 to 2.5 wt.% of molybdenum (Mo), traces of silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), vanadium (V) and manganese (Mn), and a balance of iron (Fe).
