DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING FRONT DISPLACEMENT OF FOLD-AND-DIVE TYPE REAR SEAT, USED IN MULTIPURPOSE VEHICLE SUCH AS SPORTS UTILITY VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A front displacement control device of a fold-and-dive type rear seat is provided to expand the luggage compartment by releasing a folding leg from a stopper in folding the seat back, and to prevent the accident by restricting the forward movement of the seat cushion in not folding the seat back. CONSTITUTION: A seat back is turned around a recliner(3) installed in a seat cushion, and the seat cushion is displaced downward and forward by link motion of a two-point folding leg(4) between a leg support(14) and the seat cushion. A slot hole(13) is formed in the side of the leg support, and a stopper(12) is slid and installed to the slot hole to lock the lower part of the folding leg in not folding the seat back and to release locking of the folding leg in folding the seat back. A rod(11) is connected between the upper part of a turning point(PT) of the recliner and the stopper with link motion.
